Every year it's the same problem. He buys what he wants himself. The whiskey gets finished, the watch box is already full, and the "luxury" gifts you find online could be cheap metal dressed up to look expensive.
Here's a gift that looks like it came off an Argentine estancia, tells you exactly what it's made of, and that he'll actually use. No knife knowledge needed.
No two are alike, and he's never owned one
The handle is a real piece of deer antler. Every ridge, bump and shade of brown is its own. Next to it sits a sheath cut by hand, line by line, with chisel and hammer. Nobody else at his table will have this one.
You'll know exactly what you're giving
A lot of "silver" knives online are shiny coating over cheap metal, and you can't tell from a photo. So we say it plainly: the sheath is nickel silver (alpaca), chiseled by hand, then silver-plated. And we had it checked. An independent lab in Buenos Aires cut a sheath in cross-section and examined it under a microscope at 500x. It confirmed a real layer of silver over a nickel base. No guessing, no "fine silver" fairy tale.
He'll actually use it
This isn't a showpiece for a glass case. On the pampas, the gaucho cut his meat with this knife and speared it like a fork. At his next asado, he slides it out of the silver sheath and it becomes the knife everyone asks about.
It arrives as a gift, not a package
The knife in its silver-plated sheath, a lined presentation box, our signature Gaucho ribbon and a postcard for your note. Write your message; we take care of the rest.
It's the first heirloom
Antler darkens where the hand holds it, and silver softens into a patina. Years from now it will be his knife, worn to his hand, and someday his son's. And when he tells the story, it starts with "my wife picked it out."

His knife: 5.5" blade · 10" overall
The classic table size. Every antler handle is different, so his is his alone.
Materials & care
Blade: stainless steel, 5.5" (10" overall). Handle: natural deer antler, collared and capped in nickel silver (alpaca). Sheath: nickel silver, chiseled by hand and finished in silver plating; the silver layer was confirmed by an independent lab cross-section test (Buenos Aires, Oct 2026). Natural materials, so color and shape vary from knife to knife.
Care: wash the blade by hand and dry it right away; keep the antler handle out of water. Clean the silver parts gently with silver-polish cream, and don't over-polish the plating. Not dishwasher safe.
